The anti-poaching guarantee

Edelvor is built so that the more a firm uses the platform, the safer their team gets, not the more exposed.

Any platform that lists individual professionals carries an obvious risk for the firms doing the listing: competitors and recruiters use it as a hunting ground. The more visible the team, the more outbound recruiter messages they receive. Most professional services firms have learned to keep their best people deliberately invisible online for exactly this reason.

Edelvor is built so that the more a firm uses the platform, the safer their team gets, not the more exposed.

How it works

Three structural commitments make the guarantee real, not aspirational.

First, direct contact details for individuals are never shared on the platform. No email, no phone, no direct message channel that bypasses the firm. Every enquiry, from every client, routes through the firm. Firm admins decide which team member sees which enquiry and how it gets distributed internally.

Second, firm admins control the visibility of team-member contact channels, the team-member list itself, and the messaging defaults. The firm decides what is shown to logged-out visitors, what is shown to logged-in clients, and what is shown to other firms. The defaults are protective; opening up is a deliberate choice the admin makes.

Third, the data that does belong to the professional, including their career history, qualifications, project records, and reviews, is portable between firms. The professional carries it with them when they move. The contact channel through which a buyer reaches them is firm-controlled while they are at that firm. When they move, the new firm’s controls apply.

What anti-poaching does not promise

It does not stop a recruiter from finding a professional through other channels. It does not block a competitor from headhunting based on information already public elsewhere. What it does is ensure Edelvor itself is not the channel through which that happens.

It also does not lock professionals to firms. Professionals can move freely. Their reviews, project history, qualifications, and case studies travel with them.

Why this exists

Edelvor’s value depends on firms being willing to publicly identify their strongest people. That willingness collapses if listing on the platform materially raises the chance of those people being poached. Anti-poaching is the structural promise that lets firms list their best without self-sabotage.

Frequently asked

Are professional contact details ever visible to other users?

No. Direct contact details for individuals are never shared on Edelvor. Enquiries always route through the firm.

Can a firm hide its team list completely?

Firm admins set visibility on the team-member list and on individual profiles. Defaults are protective; admins can open up selectively.

If a professional moves firms, can their old firm restrict their profile?

No. The professional's career record, reviews, and case studies are portable. Firm affiliation changes; reputation travels with the professional.
