Making the people behind the work visible. Edelvor lists named individuals at firms, with the firm contractually committing in writing to that person’s involvement.

I founded Edelvor after years working in large engineering consulting, where I held a specialised technical role on projects across multiple sectors. The pattern that kept repeating, regardless of the firm or the client, was this: the individual doing the work shaped the outcome more than the firm’s name on the proposal. Two people from the same company, similar titles, similar credentials, would routinely produce very different results. The right person made the project. The wrong one made it survive.

That observation sat with me for a long time. From the buyer side, clients had no real way to find the right individuals. They were hiring firms and hoping for the right team. From the firm side, the people doing exceptional work often went uncredited externally, which made it harder to grow careers, harder to earn the work that suited them, and harder for firms to retain them.

Edelvor started as a small idea. A way to surface the people, not just the firms. To let clients enquire knowing who they were getting, with the firm’s involvement guaranteed in writing. To let firms publicly endorse the professionals they were proudest of, and to make that endorsement mean something. To give solo consultants a reputation they could carry between roles.

What started small grew into something larger. The platform is built around the idea that careers, reputations, and project outcomes are individual things, even when delivered through a firm. Edelvor exists to make that visible.

I hope every professional, firm, and client who uses Edelvor finds value in it. If you have feedback, I want to hear it.
